JSC "Latvia's State Forests" – LVM Zemes dzīles
Joint Stock Company “Latvia’s State Forests” (LVM) was founded in October 1999. We are a responsible member of the Latvian society, which implements his responsibility in several of areas in accordance with the interests of society, the traditions of our people, and the close ties with the forest. Along with the forestry, LVM provides hunting and recreation services, produces selected seeds and seedlings, and offers mineral resources on the market such as sand, gravel, peat.
In January 2017, the structural unit LVM Zemes dzīles of JSC “Latvia's State Forests” was established, which administers the extraction, production, and sale of mineral materials in more than 100 mineral extraction sites.
LVM Zemes dzīles provides access to high-quality mineral materials and their mixtures throughout the territory of Latvia. The locations have been selected carefully to balance the economic needs of both the company and the State for mineral materials and their mixtures, without causing environmental risks. The company takes care of product compliance with quality standards, therefore, the production process of raw mineral materials and their mixtures meets internationally recognized standards.
